Christmas is coming!

Wow, what a busy week it has been so far this week. I think I should have called this entry 'Christmas is here' on reflection, as it is really all systems go as far as we are concerned at Wookey Primary. The singing is sounding excellent, from Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and I know the children in Rowan and Oak classes are enjoying rehearsing for 'Hey Ewe.'

I am pleased to announce that we are doing two performances this year, one later than the usual time, as we really wanted to do everything we could to make it possible for you to come along and watch. We are also inviting some members of the local community, which is brilliant.

As well as Christmas preparations there are lots of other exciting things going on at the moment, and I hope that you have had a chance to visit our clas pages to get a flavour of what your children have been up to. We are trying to add more videos and photographs, but you may notice that we have password protected all our videao now as part of our E-Safety focus. The children will be told the password for the videos in clas and they will share it with you. You may also have noticed that Rowan class have started their own blog, and expect one from Chestnut in the coming days. The children are also producing their own newsletters at the moment, and Chestnut class have posted theirs online today.
