Thank you to the school council...

I want to say a big thank you to the school council for their ideas in making Wookey Primary School an even happier place to be.

At their most recent meeting they told us which school rules they felt were the most important to them. We have therefore decided to call these our 'values of the week' and focus particularly on each one for a week in turn.

The values that the children chose are

1. being honest

2. being a good friend

3. being kind, helpful and polite

4. being a good listener

5. being respectful to everyone

So for next week we will be looking particularly at children who are being honest. We will be awarding dojo points and celebrating honesty in our assemblies. We will be focusing on each value in turn for the next 5 weeks, before returning to honesty again.

We will publish our 'value of the week' in the Wookey Weekly every week, so you can see where our focus for the coming week is.
