Wow, what a busy few weeks we have had here at Wookey School!

There have been so many 'events' to keep the adults busy, as well as the children...

- We had a football match agains Priddy, which we won 2-1.

- We had World Book Day, when a group of us visited Hauser and Wirth at Bruton for a session with a story teller.

- We had parent maths workshops, run by Mrs Messenger.

- The 'Life Education Bus' visited us and treated the children to some exciting sessions.

- We had a talent show and asked the children to come to school with their faces 'funny for money' for Comic Relief.

- We had a 'wine tasting' session (for Parents!) organised by the WSA.

- We had a special assembly from Reverend Clarke

- Our Year 6 children visited The Blue School for a 'science show'

and today we had a wonderful 'eclipse experience' at school, thanks to Mr Redmore! Thanks also to the parents who were able to stay and help the children with their pinhole cameras and colanders!

This has all happened in the last 3 weeks, and looking at a list of all the events I can state that I am proud of the 'broad and balanced' curriculum that we offer the children at Wookey Primary School.

Now we move on to our Easter events... (please read the Wookey Weekly!)
